Vijay at salem for welfare activities

The Ilayathalapathy Vijay is known for his various social service activities and several camps have been held in the past to distribute welfare measures to people through his Makkal Iyakkam. On July 17th, Vijay and his father director SA Chandraekar will be in Salem to distribute books and school bags for school children and plates, tables and chairs for the benefit of the children eating at the midday meal scheme.

A massive pandal is being erected near the Salem New Bus Stand for the purpose and Vijay fans are looking into the arrangements. The distribution function will be a grand fare, say sources close to Vijay.
