Extracting time from the busy schedules of Velayudham, actor Vijay on wednesday found himself distributing 108 cows to the livelihood of needy (Pasu Dhaanam or Ko Dhaanam) in Udumalpet near Coimbatore recently where the actor is currently shooting for his forthcoming flick ‘Velayutham’. The cow donation was preceded by the ‘Kopooja’ ritual performed by sanyasis.
Speaking on this occasion, Vijay said, “I have been doing numerous social welfare activities and donating cows is first of its kind. Many people in Tamil Nadu are not able to earn for their livelihood. So my simple gift of cows will help the poor to earn some income”.
“It is fulfilling”, he added.
